Nymphs

The painting portrays nymphs from Greek mythology dancing in a circle. Each nymph represents a different element, reflected in their crowns: the ocean, mountains and caves, forest, and rivers. They wear dresses and crowns that reflect the style of ancient times. The colours palette neutral, earthy tones, shades of brown and green, small details of blue.

Emancipation

This painting depicts a woman who has stepped down from the cathedral walls like a living statue, leaving behind the rigid expectations that once confined her. The cathedral’s columns symbolize strength and deep roots, while the scarf slipping from her shoulders represents opening up to the world, embracing authenticity, and growing into self-acceptance.

She stands in a public square for all to see, a place where she once felt judged and watched by the “stones with eyes.” Now she remains steady and unafraid, claiming her space. The green grass suggests the idea of an idealized life that many people imagine—perfect, orderly, and always greener on the other side—while scattered stones hint at the landscapes we all come from.

Behind the columns rise tall Mediterranean trees, a subtle reminder of distant places where new love, experiences, or self-discovery can be found. Instead of a traditional pedestal, she stands on a pizza box, eating slices freely—choosing joy, comfort, and self-love over the pressure to maintain a flawless body. Her willingness to nourish herself and live unapologetically reflects a deeper sense of being valued for who she truly is.

Ultimately, the painting captures an emancipation—from external expectations and from internal judgment—inviting the viewer to witness a moment of liberation, authenticity, and personal transformation.

Kunigunda

In wild, freeing movements, women dance around the fire like modern-day witches, echoing ancient times. A natural sense of connection flows between them—something we once felt easily as children, making flower crowns together. It’s rare now, but in moments like this, it returns.

Goddess of wine

This work is a metaphor for abundance—wine as a symbol of wealth, but also of the richness found in strong connections between women. Inspired by Dionysian rituals, grape stomping becomes a joyful, theatrical celebration of community. The women are chubby, naked, and unashamed—choosing joy in wine over the cult of the perfect body. They hold hands in fragile unity, their poses idealized like ancient Greek sculptures, almost pretending, not fully themselves. The flower crowns is a hint at transformation—into goddesses, into something more powerful, together.

La siesta

This work is part of my collection “Life in Marbella,” where I explore the tension and balance between the serenity of the Mediterranean landscape and the allure of a luxurious lifestyle. The painting portrays a wealthy woman and her pet taking a languid siesta on a designer couch—an image that blends indulgence with ease. Beneath the surface, it reflects how comfort, status, and the natural world coexist in this environment, inviting viewers to question where true relaxation and fulfillment are found.
